Live View

Site visibility is crucial. Evercam provides a live view of your construction site that can be accessed anytime and anywhere, using your mobile, laptop, or tablet. πŸ’»

Once a camera is selected, the Camera ID can be seen in the URL: https://dash.evercam.io/v2/projects/*projectID*/*cameraID*

It is usually composed of (5 Letters-5 Letters), i.e. abcde-fghij

How to Use

  1. On Live View in the dashboard, you can zoom in or out (βž•/ βž–) on any area of the camera view.

  2. If you want to access weather information for the current date or past dates, click on the Weather icon (β›…)at the lower right-hand side.

    This can help schedule work on site based on forecasted weather conditions or to check historical weather data for days with conditions that caused delays on site. πŸ“†

  1. If you want to share the current image, use the Mark-up tool (✏️)to take a screenshot of the live view and add drawings or notes as needed. πŸ–ΌοΈ

    You can download the image to your device, save it in the Media Hub or send it to your account in Procore/Aconex/Autodesk.

  1. You can download the image directly to your computer or phone. ⬇️

    Hold Ctrl + download button β¬‡οΈ

    This command will open the image in a new tab and remove the Evercam logo (watermark).

    Hold Shift + download button β¬‡οΈ

    This command will open the image in a new window and remove the Evercam logo (watermark).

  2. You can choose to Pause (⏸️) the live view whenever you please.

Note: Live View will automatically pause after 2 minutes of inactivity to avoid unnecessary requests. Just click Resume to play the live view.

If you would like to remove the pause, you can add this parameter at the end of the URL: ?pause=false
