WordPress is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) that allows users to easily create and manage websites.

Embedding a Live View on a WordPress Website

  1. Login to WordPress and click Pages > Add New.

  1. Add Title and Heading

  • Type the Title of the page

  • Create a new heading block by clicking the “ + “ button, and selecting the heading from the dialog box.

  • Type the heading of the page.

  1. Get the Embedded Live View Code within Evercam

  • Go to Settings > Widgets

  • Add a new widget

  • Select Live View in the Widget type.

  • Select the camera.

  • Place the allowed origin (full base URL where you will embed the widget) or make it public.

  • Adjust the settings.

  • Click save.

  • Copy the embed code.

  1. Add custom HTML

  • Go back to your WordPress live view page.

  • Select Custom HTML from “+” > Custom HTML.

  • Paste the embedded live view code in the custom HTML section.

  1. Public / Password Protect

  • On the right sidebar under page > status & visibility > visibility.

  • Change public to password-protected for password-protected pages.

  • Type the password of the live view page.

  1. Page template

  • On the right sidebar under page > template.

  • Select the inner page template.

  1. Publish Page

  • Click on the Publish button on the top right corner to publish the page.
