What is Time-Lapse Creator? ⌛
Time-Lapse Creator allows users to create their timelapses within the Evercam platform.
New Evercam contracts only include 1 professionally edited video as part of our standard package, though you can still purchase them through a subscription model or individually as needed.
Why is this feature important? 💯
As part of Evercam's effort to its customers, we are providing more usability with the platform for nearly instant and unlimited time-lapses for increased coordination and collaboration between teams from within the platform.
What is the difference between footage from Time-Lapse Creator (TLC) vs Cloud Recordings in the Evercam platform? 📼
Recordings are limited to 1 hour captures at a much higher frame rate for review of work and incidents, without the request of the full frame rate video from Evercam Support.
Time-Lapse Creator (TLC) is focused on team collaboration across longer durations and to show project progress.
Can we brand a Time-Lapse Creator video with our logo?
There is the capability to upload your logo for the Time-Lapse Creator videos.
Can I make a .gif instead of a video?
Our shortest video length is currently 30 seconds
Can I save my preferred settings to make regular time-lapses? 💾
You cannot save preferred settings to make regular time-lapses (either by schedule or by duration, length of video, etc).
Can I get the embed code for my time-lapse like the Compare output? 🔗
Currently, this is not available. You can download the Time-Lapse and upload it to embed it on a webpage or dashboard.
Can I auto-create my timelapse videos within Time-Lapse Creator?
Time-Lapse Creator will continue to grow and improve through future iterations and this is on our roadmap for this product.
Can I have 2 versions of the same video, 1 with the client logo and 1 with the GC logo?
It is possible both in Time-Lapse Creator, as well as videos purchased through our Video Team at video@evercam.io
Can I remove images from within the Time-Lapse Creator? ❌
Evercam's Video Team can remove frames from professionally edited videos, but that feature is not available in Time-Lapse Creator.
Is Time-Lapse Creator going to be available in decommissioned cameras? 📷
Time-Lapse Creator is available on decommissioned cameras only upon request.
How do I share the Time-lapse creator video with the Internal - Project Team?
Time-Lapse Creator offers multiple forms of sharing both internally and externally.
Any user on the Evercam platform can use the timelapse URL to review the same timelapse in the Media Hub.
Am I able to request a full frame rate video with Time-Lapse Creator? 📩
You can always request a full frame rate clip of your video (always recorded at 8 frames per second) by contacting support@evercam.io, or review at a 1 frame per second with Recordings, but Time-Lapse Creator is specifically for collaboration of longer durations at lower frame rates.
Can I share a video on social media that I've created? 👉
Yes, customers can share videos on social media that they have created from their project, as long as it is allowed by their Company or by the Camera/ Project Owner.
What is the size of the Time-Lapse video?
Time-lapse videos have a resolution of 1080x720p (HD) with an average of 100-160 MB in size.
Time-Lapse Creator vs. Time-Lapse Pro ⏳
Does Evercam's standard package include any professionally completed videos?
Yes, every standard Evercam package receives one timelapse after the project. The recurring monthly or custom videos are now part of Evercam's "Time-Lapse Pro" subscription package.
What Time-Lapse tools are included in the standard software? What Time-Lapse tools do I get if I don't purchase Time-Lapse Pro as an add-on?
Time-Lapse Creator and one End of Project professional video production are included with the standard offering. If you'd like a monthly time-lapse produced by our video editing team, you'll need to add Time-Lapse Pro to your project order.
