SSO Login Workflow

Login Process Step-by-Step 🚀

1. Initial Login Screen

  • Navigate to the Evercam Dashboard login page

  • Enter your email address

  • The system will determine your login options based on your email domain.

2. Authentication Options 🔑

For Company Users

  • If your email belongs to a specific company domain, you'll see:

    • Company-specific SSO providers

    • Restricted login options configured by your company Admin

For General Users

  • Alongside normal password authentication, Public SSO options are available too:

    • Google Sign-In

    • Microsoft Sign-In

3. SSO Provider Selection

  • Click on your preferred SSO provider (Google/ Microsoft)

  • You will be redirected to the provider's Authentication Page

  • Select the appropriate account when prompted

Technical Authentication Flow 🔐

  1. User is redirected to SSO provider login

  2. Provider authenticates user

  3. Provider returns authentication code to Evercam Dashboard

  4. Evercam Dashboard verifies code with the issuer and gets User email and profile (given name and family name) from the SSO provider

  5. Evercam Dashboard generates internal authentication token

First-Time User Registration 🆕

  • First SSO login will automatically populate:

    • Email

    • First Name

    • Last Name

  • No additional manual registration required

  • Android App

  • iOS App

Important Notes ⚠️

  • Not all SSO providers are public

  • Some providers may require Company invitation

  • Company admins can configure specific SSO settings (Evercam support needed)
