Solar Standalone Installation

The Solar Standalone Installation is a self-sufficient surveillance configuration designed for rooftops or remote sites where traditional power infrastructure is unavailable. This setup integrates a high-output solar energy system with an elevated camera mast to provide 24/7 site monitoring.
Configuration Components
Solar Array: The system features a large-format solar panel array mounted on an adjustable galvanized steel frame. This frame is positioned at an angle to maximize sunlight absorption and is typically secured to a weighted base to ensure stability against wind loads without penetrating the roof surface.
Energy Storage: The solar panels charge a battery bank, typically consisting of three 12V 105AH GEL batteries, which provide the necessary power for nighttime operation and periods of low sunlight.
Elevated Monitoring: A vertical mast is integrated into the assembly, supporting a 4k+ Fixed-position camera. This camera is equipped with varifocal zoom and infrared capabilities for clear imaging in all lighting conditions.
Weatherproof Edge Computing: The system is powered by an Evercam Enclosure (IP66 rated) containing a Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB) for edge processing and an 8TB SkyHawk HDD for extensive local video storage.
