Ricoh Camera Support

Supported Cameras 🤳

Currently, only the Ricoh Theta Z1 is supported.

Connection process 📶

Ricoh cameras have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned off by default.

You need to turn them on using the button on the left side of the camera. You’ll know it’s on when you see the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth icon on the camera screen. Then the app will be able to search and connect to the camera.

Notes 📒

  • Ricoh cameras can’t record a new video while another one is downloading, so you’ll need to wait for the download to finish before starting another recording.

  • The camera uses normal recording mode (not timelapse), which means the video files will be larger compared to those from an Insta360 camera.

  • When capturing walks, make sure the camera is at a vertical angle as any other angle will not produce good output.
