Project Settings & Sharing

These features are only available for users with Company Admin status or Project Owners.

↔️ 2 Ways To Share Cameras

1. Project Settings

Within a project, we have the “Project Settings” page. From this page, you can access the following tabs:

🔎 The Overview tab

  1. View the Project Information

  2. Update the Project Thumbnail and Thumbnail for Cameras Waiting to be Activated by selecting a camera to use its image as the project thumbnail or upload a new thumbnail (16:9 aspect ratio).

  3. Open the project in Map View.

👫 The Members tab

  1. Add users and assign their rights to each camera within the project.

  2. Restrict Access to the camera(s) in case of emergency.

    Only available for Project Owners.

  3. Export list of users.

    Only available for Project Owners.

⚙️ The Camera Settings tab

Edit the camera name and the visibility (Private/Public).

🌦️The Weather tab

Connect your weather device to the Evercam Platform for more localised weather data.

☠️Danger Zone

Transfer Ownership of your project.

Only available for Project Owners.


2. Team Members (Beta)

On the Root/Account level, you will see the “Team Members” page. This feature allows you to share cameras across multiple projects under one account or Company.

Custom access refers to when a user has different access levels for the various cameras within a project.

Example:

Camera 1: Read-Only
Camera 2: Read + Share

Evercam does not add users to Projects. This is the responsibility of the Company’s Admin or Project Admin as the Data Controller.
