Planner

A tool to help Project Owners and Managers plan camera locations and more on the site before any installation or deployment.

How to Use 🌍

  1. Click on Planner in the left navigation panel.

  2. Click “Add a Plan” to create a new project.

  • A new project view will look like this:



  1. Search for the project location using the Search bar at the upper right side.

  1. Add Camera: Click the “Add Camera” icon at the upper left.

    Camera Info: You can edit the Camera name, color, position, viewing angle or radius, or delete the camera if it is no longer needed.



  1. Add a Site Map or Floor Plan of the project for reference.

Overlays can be locked and even made transparent.

There can only be one Overlay at a time. To load a new one, click Delete then Add Floor Plan on the right navigation bar.



  • Rotate, Scale and Measure the Drawing to fit into the site.



  1. You can change the Map Style from Earth view, Street view, or use a blank map.

Earth view uses 3D Tiles that allow for better zoomed-in views and site context.



  1. You can toggle On/Off Map Labels, Camera Labels and Camera Visibility from the right-side panel.



  1. Save your session.



  1. Markup and download created views via the Markup Tool.

  • Open the map in Google Earth (new window) and view the site in 2D or 3D.
