OpenSpace Integration with Evercam

Evercam supports three integration options for embedding OpenSpace 360 walks directly into your project dashboard. These options offer different levels of visibility and access control. Below is a breakdown of the available methods, followed by step-by-step setup instructions for each.

1. Shared Folder (Selected Walks – Public Access) πŸ“‚

This option allows you to share only specific 360 walks within an Evercam project by manually adding them to a Shared Folder within OpenSpace.

Overview

  • Add them to a Shared Folder in OpenSpace

  • Share the folder link with Evercam

  • No login required to view in Evercam

  • Good balance of control and visibility

Steps

  1. Within OpenSpace, you need to create a shared folder like the one shown below.

    You can find it in the β€œShared Folders” area at the left-side navigation panel in OpenSpace.

    You must have Site Administrator or Organization Administrator user permission level to do this.

  1. Add the captures you would like to view within Evercam.

  2. After which, click on Members (icon of a person’s head with a hard hat at the lower left side of the navigation panel) to view the Sharing settings.

    Add 3d@evercam.io as a Site Admin, and then toggle ON the β€œPublic share link is Enabled”.

    By making the shared folder public, the link will be accessible on any browser and can be viewed by anyone.

  1. Copy the Shared Folder link and email the link to support@evercam.io with the project name and request to embed the OpenSpace iframe using this shared folder link.

  1. We'll take care of the rest and notify you once the integration has been set up.

    It may take 1-3 days to complete the request.



2. Public Project Link (All Walks – Public Access) πŸ”“

This method allows full access to all 360 walks within an Evercam project using a single public link.

Overview

  • Share the full project as public in OpenSpace

  • All walks become visible to anyone with the link

Benefits

  • Easiest setup

  • Instant access to all 360 content

  • No user login required

Steps

  1. Log in to OpenSpace and open the desired project.

  2. Click Project Settings icon in the bottom-left corner.

  3. Once Project Settings has opened, scroll down and enable both sliders under Custom Link and Save.

  4. Copy the Custom Link URL and email the link to support@evercam.io with the project name and request to embed the OpenSpace iframe using this Custom Link URL.


3. Private Project Link (OpenSpace Login Required) πŸ”’

This option embeds the full OpenSpace project into Evercam, but users must log in to view the content.

  • OpenSpace project remains private

  • Link is embedded in Evercam but requires OpenSpace credentials

Benefits

  • Maintains full privacy and access control

  • Ideal for sensitive project environments

Steps

  1. Log in to OpenSpace.

  2. Navigate to the desired project.

  3. Navigate to Project Settings.

  4. Within the Project Settings, under the Details tab, you will find a Custom Link toggle at the bottom.

  5. Toggle ON the Custom Link, save the Settings then copy the Custom Link URL.

  6. Send the Custom Link URL to support@evercam.io so we can embed it into your Evercam Dashboard.

  7. When a user tries to access OpenSpace from within Evercam, they will be asked to sign in before viewing any data, as seen in the image below.
