Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Victron Connect

To perform any of the following functions, you will need the Victron Connect app downloaded to your smartphone. You can search for and download the app using your device's app store.



Connect to the MPPT Charge Controller 📶

  1. You need to open the Victron Connect app and locate the MPPT charge controller in the device list.



  1. You need to enter the device's Bluetooth PIN when prompted.

    PIN should be 000000 (6 zeros).




  1. You are now connected to the MPPT charge controller and can perform the following operations:


Firmware Upgrade 📈

  1. If needed, your MPPT charge controller will prompt you to upgrade the device's firmware. You can click the update button.

Note: Do not leave this screen or take any incoming phone calls during the upgrade process, as this will interrupt/cancel the upgrade.



  1. Once the upgrade is completed, you may click continue.



  1. Your device's firmware is now up to date.


Battery Readings

Connect to the MPPT charge controller using the Victron Connect app and Bluetooth. Please ensure you are within range of the Evercam equipment enclosure.

  1. You have to open the Victron Connect app. You need to locate the MPPT charge controller in the device list.



  1. You can choose the charge controller you want to connect to by clicking on the correct name from the list. This will open the device information page.

    The battery voltage reading is located approximately halfway down the screen.



Load Output Settings

  1. The load output settings are displayed towards the bottom of the device information screen.



  1. To change the load output state, you need to click on the setting gear icon ⚙️ on the top right of the page.



  1. You can choose the Load Output option.



  1. You have to switch the load output to "always on", and then click the back arrow.
