The Internal Plant Room installation is a permanent infrastructure configuration designed for large-scale commercial or industrial projects. This setup utilizes the building's core utility spaces to house the central control unit, ensuring maximum security and a climate-controlled environment for the system's edge computing and storage hardware.

Configuration & Infrastructure Integration

Centralised Control Hub: The primary Harwell Enclosure (Item 2) is wall-mounted within the building's plant or server room, typically at a high level to clear existing pipework and conduits.
Security & Longevity: By housing the Raspberry Pi 5 and 8TB SkyHawk HDD (Item 3) indoors, the system is protected from construction debris, vibration, and extreme environmental conditions, ensuring reliable 24/7 localised recording.
Cable Routing: The configuration integrates with the building's internal cable management systems, utilizing professional conduits to route CAT 5e network cables to external camera locations.
