How to Use Evercam Copilot
Copilot is still in Beta.
Getting Started
Accessing Copilot via dedicated User Interface
Via this dedicated UI, you can now ask Copilot questions about specific images or video clips, rather than just querying pre-collected data from our database
Log in to Evercam
Navigate to the “Copilot” feature located at the upper-right-hand side of the window, beside the Help button.
Click on the camera you’d like to analyse.
Choose the timeframe of time-lapse images you’d like Copilot to analyse/prompt - you can sort by hour, day, or week.
Ask a question - it helps to be specific about your role, the context, and the format you’d like the answer displayed.
From initial testing, we’ve found that Copilot works best for broader, trend-based prompts rather than tasks that require high precision or exact counts.
Good use case: “What major progress milestones were observed last week?” or “Were there long periods of inactivity during work hours?”
Less accurate: “How many people were on-site per hour yesterday?” or “How many workers were not wearing PPE yesterday?”Even if the question isn't perfectly addressed right now, seeing the prompts helps our development team make necessary adjustments.

Asking Questions
Copilot uses Natural Language Processing (NLP), so just type your question into the chat.
For example:
"I’m a construction project manager. Can you summarize the progress from last week?"
"What safety violations did you observe yesterday?"
Reviewing the Response
Copilot will generate a summary and, where possible, provide links to specific footage. Click on these links to validate what the AI has observed.
Providing Feedback
If the response is helpful, mark it as correct. If it’s incorrect or irrelevant, mark it as such.
This helps improve the AI’s future performance.
