Evercam Box (Harwell)

Step 1

• Turn off the kit and disconnect from power

Step 2

• Remove the circled screws. In the same rails, you may see 2 more of the same screws in the bottom of the box

Step 3

• Remove the cables from the router and the board

Step 4

• Bring the block out of the box

• Remove the Raspberry PI screws (Red)

• Then remove the board screws (Blue) and last the HDD screws (Green)

  • Be careful of the golden strip!

Step 5

• Replace the HDD and secure the screws in the reverse order (Green first, Blue next, Red last)

• Reconnect the cables as per step 3

• Secure the block again with the screws on step 2

Important Notes

• Make sure to secure the HDD well to avoid damages

Giraffe box

Step 1

• Remove the cover of the box

Step 2

• Open the box and turn off the kit with the switch button (Red arrow)

• Wait until the LEDs are off (only red will stay on) and the HDD stops spinning

  
  
  

Step 3

• Disconnect the HDD and remove the screws from the back of the HDD

Step 4

• Plug the new HDD and secure it on the back with the screws

• Then turn on the kit again
