Comments

Use the comment feature to communicate directly with stakeholders within a Recording. By tagging feedback to the source, you maintain a single source of truth and enhance team collaboration.




How to Use Recording Comments

Follow these steps to collaborate directly within your footage:

  1. Open the Tool: Navigate to the Recordings tab of any camera and click the Dialogue Icon.

  2. Place a Comment: Click anywhere on the video player to drop a pin.

  3. Save Your Input: Type your message and click "Add Comment" to save.

Navigating Comments

  • Location: View all active and archived comments in the Right Navigation Panel or as markers on the Player Timeline Bar.

    • Note: Comments on recordings will also appear on the Timeline page.

  • Time-Stamping: Timeline markers show the exact minute the comment was created.

  • Quick Jump: Clicking any comment in the right panel will automatically redirect the player to that specific point in the recording.

Permissions

  • Standard Users: Can edit or delete only the comments they have created.

  • Admins: Have full permission to delete any comment.
