BIM Sequencing
A 4D BIM Model contains the project timeline which shows important construction milestones and can be used for tracking the progress of a project.
We offer a paid service of including your project schedule to be viewed in BIM Compare and BIM View.
What is BIM Sequencing?
BIM Sequencing is a powerful feature that integrates your construction project schedule with your 3D BIM model to visualise the build process over time. Think of it as creating a movie of your construction project, where each scene represents a milestone like foundation completion, steel structure erection, or fit-out phases.
๐ With BIM Sequencing, you can:
See how the project is expected to unfold step by step.
Jump between milestones to track progress.
Compare planned vs actual construction using time-synced camera footage.
How Does It Work?
Your BIM Model + Your Schedule:
Evercam takes your existing 3D model (from tools like Revit, Navisworks or Synchro) and your construction schedule (P6 or Excel).4D Timeline Matching:
The model is linked to project milestones, so you can see the construction evolve over time in the iTwin Viewer (Bentley platform).Fair usage: No greater than 60 exposed milestones.

Compare Reality vs Plan:
See your BIM model side-by-side with real-time site camera footage. This makes project tracking visual and intuitive.

Key Benefits
๐ง Track Milestones Visually: Understand exactly where the project stands.
๐ Fewer Surprises: Detect delays or misalignments early.
๐ค Easy Communication: Share visual updates with stakeholders.
How to Get Started
To request BIM Sequencing:
๐ฌ Talk to Your Account Manager:
Ask for BIM Sequencing to be added to your deal.
Customer to fill up the BIM Services Scoping form.
Pricing is per update of the schedule.
๐ฆ Provide Your Files:
BIM model (Revit/Navisworks with edit rights)
Project schedule (Excel or P6)
Floor/site plans showing zones (and project details for better understanding)
๐ฉ Email the Evercam 3D Team: 3d@evercam.io
๐ A call to be scheduled with the 3D Team and the customer to discuss the Project Schedule details for alignment.
Should not have any changes for the given schedule within the service process.
๐ Timeline:
~15 business days on average if manual alignment is needed.
subject to the projectโs size and complexity
Service includes up to 50 service hours - additional hours will be charged
Faster if the schedule is already embedded into your model.
A Notification will be sent by the 3D team once the sequencing has been done.
Platform Note
Currently, BIM Sequencing is supported on Bentleyโs iTwin Viewer and Autodesk Forge.
