BIM Model Ingest & Update Guide
You can directly upload your Building Information Model (BIM) through the Evercam Ingest system instead of using third-party sharing platforms. Once uploaded, our 3D Team processes the model to enable Dynamic Visualisation, Measurement Tools, and Project Phase Timelines.
⏱️ Processing Timelines
Standard Models: Typically take 1–3 days to process.
Synchro Models: May take 5–7 days, depending on size and complexity.
Updates: If BIM View is already enabled, updates via "Send" are viewable more quickly.
💻 Option 1: Uploading from a Local Source
Use this method to upload files directly from your computer.

Update Model

⚠️ Critical Success Factors
To avoid errors or project delays, please adhere to the following:
Requirement | Description |
Model Alignment | Updated models must maintain the same initial position as the previous version. Changes in position will misalign the BIM in 360 and require manual fixes. |
Federation | You can only upload one federated model at a time. |
Overwriting | Choosing the "Update" option will overwrite the existing model currently in the viewer. |
